What do you charge?

Ceremonies start from £850. This includes everything from our first call right through to the day itself - the full script, vow support, and of course, me, on the day. Travel costs may apply for locations further afield; I'll always be upfront about this.

Are there any extra costs?

Occasionally travel and accommodation costs apply for weddings further from Frome, Somerset but I'll always discuss this with you before anything is agreed. No nasty surprises.

How do we confirm you to officiate at our wedding?

Drop me a message via the enquiry form and we'll arrange an initial call - completely free and no obligation. If we're a good fit (and we probably will be), I'll send over a simple booking agreement and take a deposit to secure your date.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can! Popular dates, especially summer Saturdays, go fast. I'd recommend getting in touch as soon as you have a date in mind, even if you're still in the early planning stages.

How many meetings will we have?

As many as you need to feel confident and excited. As a minimum, we'll have an initial getting-to-know-you call, a deeper planning session where we go through your story and ceremony in detail, and a final run-through closer to the date. I'm always available by email or phone in between.

Do you do ceremonies for same-sex couples?

Absolutely - and wholeheartedly. I celebrate love in all its forms. Every ceremony I create is completely bespoke to the couple in front of me.

What's it like to work with you?

Honestly? Pretty brilliant (I'm told). My couples consistently say they felt relaxed, supported, and genuinely excited about their ceremony from our very first call. I'll guide you through the whole process, help you find the words when you're stuck, and make sure the day feels joyful and entirely you. I take my job seriously, but not myself.

Do you cover legal ceremonies?

As a celebrant, my ceremonies are not legally binding in the UK. Most couples either do a small legal registry office signing beforehand or afterwards, and then have the 'real' celebration ceremony with me. I'm very experienced at helping couples navigate this so it feels seamless - not like a compromise.

What happens if you're ill on the day?

Touch wood, it hasn't happened - but in the unlikely event of a genuine emergency, I have a trusted network of fellow celebrants I can call on, and I would never leave you without support. Your day will go ahead.
